Mrs. Waltrude Brown(Grade Six Teacher)
A past teacher of the Bexon Infant School, Cannon Laurie Anglican Primary School. Jon Odlum Secondary School and currently the Grade Six (6) Teacher of the Bexon primary School at which I have taught for most of my thirty year teaching career. I have been privileged to teach students from Grade K ( Kindergarten) to Form Three of the school system.I am extremely passionate about education and empowering our youth to meet the needs of our nation and by extension the wider global village, of which we are all a part, and to make a meaningful contribution.
I love children, especially those with special needs. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with Lynchburg College. I also have a certificate in Teacher Education from The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, a Certificate in Information Technology from the University of The West Indies, and a past pupil of St. Joseph’s Convent.
I have four children with my dedicated and loving husband of twenty-one years: Two daughters and two sons of whom I am extremely proud.
My dream is to see that all children get to maximize their potential under the able and competent guidance of hard-working, caring and dedicated teachers- academically and otherwise to become well rounded individuals of purpose.
I always strive for the best and has a culture of excellence in whatever I undertake. I continue to enhance my professional development by doing personal reflection, as well as research, to keep abreast with the dynamism of education, in order to execute my daily duties efficiently.
I am an avid reader and loves books of all genres and by extension my profession- TEACHER!!!!!!!!!! –Changing one life at a time!
I started the teaching profession in September, 2007 but attended the Division of Teacher Education and Educational Administration at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College during the years of 2009-2011.

I have been teaching for five years at this institution. From my younger days I always admired teachers and the great impact they have on young lives. This admiration for teachers inspired me to become one. I love educating and being a positive influence to all those I teach.
In 2015 I completed my associates degree in secondary education at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, Division of Teacher Education and Educational Administration. Upon my return I was appointed as the Mathematics and Theatre Arts coordinator in September of 2015.

I entered the teaching profession in September of 1997 but attended the Division of Teacher Education and Educational Administration at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College during the period of 1999-2001.
I enjoy spending quality time with my family, also love reading, cooking and having a good laugh.

Mrs. Mahalia Ferdinand-Hudson
Teaching career began at Plain View Combined School.
Then known by the students as Miss Ferdinand, I taught kindergarten for a period of ten years. I taught all grades, before subsequently teaching music for three years.
I then transferred to Bexon Primary in 2012, as Music teacher, where I served in this capacity for three years.
This school year, September 2015, I assumed the position of Special Education Teacher at this institution.
